Dr. Joni Chy is the founder and CEO of PHYSIOHAUS and has 24 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has been a community trailblazer, becoming the area’s first physical therapist board-certified in orthopedics. Dr. Chy is passionate about individualized and evidence-based orthopedic and sports medicine care. A graduate of Southwest Baptist University, she attained a Bachelor of Science degree, double majoring in biology and psychology. After undergraduate studies, she completed a Master’s and Doctorate in Physical Therapy while graduating at the top of her class. She serves on the advisory board of Missouri State/Minnesota State University’s Women in Leadership certificate program and has previously provided senior mentorship for Upstream Rehab Institute’s Orthopedic Residency program. She is also an adjunct instructor at Bowling Green State University where she educates in orthopedics to doctoral students. Dr. Chy takes pride in giving back to the community by volunteering her expertise at sporting events, guest speaking, and mentoring students.
